🍰 Crunchy Walnut Brownies

Ingredients
- butter 200 g
- chocolate, dark 300 g
- eggs 3 pcs.
- powdered sugar 180 g
- salt pinch
- wheat flour, Type 405 80 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- walnut kernels 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Fill a pot with 500 milliliters of water and bring it to a boil.
- 3. Cut the butter into small cubes.
- 4. Chop 200 grams of chocolate into small pieces.
- 5. Place the butter and chocolate in a bowl.
- 6. Place the bowl over the pot with the hot water, ensuring it does not touch the water.
- 7. Stir the mixture until the butter and chocolate are completely melted.
- 8. Remove the bowl from the pot and let the chocolate mixture cool down slightly.
- 9. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
- 10. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer and a whisk until the mixture is thick and pale.
- 11. Stir the slightly cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- 12. Mix the flour and baking powder in a small separate bowl.
- 13. Gently fold the flour mixture into the batter.
- 14. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
- 15. Chop the remaining chocolate coarsely.
- 16. Combine the walnuts and the remaining chocolate with the batter.
- 17. Grease a baking pan with dimensions 18 by 25 centimeters.
- 18. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- 19. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 20. Check the brownies: The surface should be firm, but the inside should still be slightly soft.
- 21. Cover the brownies with aluminum foil at the end of the baking time if the surface becomes too dark.
- 22. Let the brownies cool down completely in the pan.
- 23. Turn the brownies out of the pan.
- 24. Cut the brownies into cubes.
- 25. Dust the brownies with powdered sugar if desired.
