  2. 2. Fill a pot with 500 milliliters of water and bring it to a boil.
  3. 3. Cut the butter into small cubes.
  4. 4. Chop 200 grams of chocolate into small pieces.
  5. 5. Place the butter and chocolate in a bowl.
  6. 6. Place the bowl over the pot with the hot water, ensuring it does not touch the water.
  7. 7. Stir the mixture until the butter and chocolate are completely melted.
  8. 8. Remove the bowl from the pot and let the chocolate mixture cool down slightly.
  9. 9. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
  10. 10. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer and a whisk until the mixture is thick and pale.
  11. 11. Stir the slightly cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
  12. 12. Mix the flour and baking powder in a small separate bowl.
  13. 13. Gently fold the flour mixture into the batter.
  14. 14. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
  15. 15. Chop the remaining chocolate coarsely.
  16. 16. Combine the walnuts and the remaining chocolate with the batter.
  17. 17. Grease a baking pan with dimensions 18 by 25 centimeters.
