🥗 Crunchy Walnut and Apple Cheese Salad

Ingredients
- walnut kernels 5 tbsp
- celery stalks 1 pc
- apples, red 2 pc
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- Emmental cheese in a block 450 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- apple juice 2 tbsp
- vinegar 1 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- rustic mild bread 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Preheat a pan over medium heat.
- 2. Add the walnuts to the pan without any oil.
- 3. Roast the nuts for about four minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Wash the celery stalks thoroughly under running water.
- 5. Cut off the tough ends from the celery.
- 6. Separate the individual stalks from the base.
- 7. Slice the celery stalks into thin rings.
- 8. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 9. Quarter the apples.
- 10. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 11. Slice the apples into thin wedges.
- 12. Wash the parsley.
- 13. Dry the parsley.
- 14. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 15. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 16. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 17. Take a large bowl.
- 18. Add the cheese to the bowl.
- 19. Add the sliced apples.
- 20. Add the chopped parsley.
- 21. Add the celery rings to the bowl.
- 22. Add the roasted walnuts.
- 23. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 24. Add the oil to the bowl.
- 25. Add the apple juice.
- 26. Add the vinegar.
- 27. Season the salad with salt.
- 28. Season the salad with pepper.
- 29. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
- 30. Plate the salad.
- 31. Serve the salad with bread.
