  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Let the cherries drain in a sieve.
  3. 3. Mix 120 grams of soft butter with sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla sugar in a bowl using a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
  4. 4. Beat the eggs individually and add them one by one to the butter-sugar mixture.
  5. 5. Add flour, baking powder, and milk, and stir everything into a smooth batter.
  6. 6. Place paper liners in a muffin tin.
  7. 7. Fill the liners with the batter.
  8. 8. Bake the cupcakes for about 30 to 35 minutes in the oven until they are lightly golden brown.
  9. 9. Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack.
  10. 10. Mix the cream cheese with the remaining butter in a bowl using a hand mixer.
  11. 11. Sift the powdered sugar and let it trickle in slowly while whipping the cream for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  12. 12. Hollow out the center of the cooled cupcakes with a teaspoon.
  13. 13. Fill the hollowed-out cupcakes with the drained cherries.
  14. 14. Spread the cream over the cupcakes using a piping bag or a spoon.
  15. 15. Decorate the cupcakes with a walnut.
