  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Take a large bowl and put the butter in it.
  3. 3. Beat the butter with a hand mixer until creamy and airy.
  4. 4. Add the sugar, the vanilla sugar, and the salt to the butter.
  5. 5. Mix the ingredients well together.
  6. 6. Crack the eggs.
  7. 7. Add the eggs gradually to the butter-sugar mixture.
  8. 8. Stir constantly while doing so.
  9. 9. Add the flour, the baking powder, and the milk.
  10. 10. Stir everything until a thick batter forms.
  11. 11. Check the consistency of the batter.
  12. 12. If the batter is too thick, add a little more milk.
  13. 13. Preheat the waffle iron.
  14. 14. Lightly grease the waffle iron.
  15. 15. Put a ladle of batter into the mold.
  16. 16. Bake the waffles for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
  17. 17. Take the waffles out of the iron.
  18. 18. Place the waffles on a cooling rack.
  19. 19. Let the waffles cool down completely.
  20. 20. Cut the cooled waffles into pieces.
  21. 21. Insert a popsicle stick into each waffle piece.
  22. 22. Take a pot and fill it with water.
  23. 23. Bring the water to a boil.
  24. 24. Chop the chocolate coating.
  25. 25. Take a bowl and put the chopped chocolate coating in it.
  26. 26. Place the bowl over the pot with the hot water.
  27. 27. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler.
  28. 28. Crush the cookies roughly.
  29. 29. Take a spoon or brush.
  30. 30. Apply the melted chocolate coating to the waffles.
  31. 31. Decorate the waffles with cookie crumbs.
  32. 32. Alternatively, use chocolate sprinkles or sugar pearls.
