  1. 1. Take the meat out of the fridge and let it reach room temperature.
  2. 2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  3. 3. Rinse the roast beef, pat it dry, and trim off any excess fat.
  4. 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over high heat.
  5. 5. Sear the roast beef on all sides for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. 6. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Place the meat in a baking dish.
  8. 8. Roast the roast beef in the oven for 20 to 35 minutes.
  9. 9. Cut the lemon in half.
  10. 10. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  11. 11. Drain the tuna well.
  12. 12. Put an egg, mustard, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of oil, olive oil, tuna, and some water into a tall container.
  13. 13. Blend the ingredients into a creamy sauce.
  14. 14. Remove the roast beef from the oven.
  15. 15. Let the meat rest for about 10 minutes.
  16. 16. Slice the roast beef into very thin slices.
  17. 17. Let the meat slices cool for another 10 minutes.
  18. 18. Arrange the meat slices on a serving platter.
  19. 19. Pour the tuna sauce over the meat.
  20. 20. Serve the dish with drained capers.
