  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the potatoes under running water. Peel them. Cut the potatoes into coarse, bite-sized cubes. Wash the bell pepper. Cut it in half. Remove the stem and seeds. Slice the bell pepper into thin strips. Peel the garlic cloves. Halve the onion. Peel the onion.
  2. 2. Put the onion and garlic into the mixing container. Chop them for 6 seconds at speed 8. Push the ingredients down from the sides with a spatula. Add the olive oil. Sauté the mixture for 3 minutes on the sauté setting. Leave the measuring cup open.
  3. 3. Add the tomato paste and sugar to the container. Roast them for 3 minutes on the sauté setting. Leave the measuring cup open. Now add the tomatoes, broth, potatoes, paprika powder, bay leaves, thyme, and rosemary. Close the measuring cup. Cook the goulash for 15 minutes at speed 1 and 100 degrees Celsius.
  4. 4. Add the bell pepper strips. Close the measuring cup. Cook the dish for another 15 minutes at speed 1 and 100 degrees Celsius. Use the reverse stirring function. Check if the potatoes are soft. If they are still too firm, extend the cooking time by a few minutes.
  5. 5. Wash the parsley. Shake it dry. Pluck the leaves from the stems. Chop the leaves finely. Mix the sour cream with the parsley in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Remove the bay leaves from the goulash. Season the goulash to taste with salt and pepper. Fill the goulash into deep plates. Serve it with the herb sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
