  6. 6. Halve the garlic clove.
  7. 7. Grease a large baking dish with margarine.
  8. 8. Rub the inside of the dish with the halved garlic clove.
  9. 9. Place the potato slices into the dish.
  10. 10. Season the potatoes with salt.
  11. 11. Season the potatoes with pepper.
  12. 12. Season the potatoes with nutmeg.
  13. 13. Take a bowl.
  14. 14. Pour the oat cream into the bowl.
  15. 15. Season the oat cream with salt.
  16. 16. Season the oat cream with pepper.
  17. 17. Pour the seasoned oat cream over the potatoes.
  18. 18. Place the baking dish in the oven.
  19. 19. Bake the gratin for about 20 minutes.
  20. 20. Remove the baking dish from the oven.
  21. 21. Sprinkle grated vegan cheese over the gratin.
  22. 22. Place the baking dish back in the oven.
  23. 23. Bake the gratin for another 30 minutes until golden brown.
  24. 24. Remove the baking dish from the oven.
  25. 25. Let the gratin cool down for a short moment.
  26. 26. Serve the finished dish.
