🍽️ Vegan Sliced Meat with Mushrooms and Spätzle

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- spring onions 1 bunch
- mushrooms, white 500 g
- salt pinch
- oil 5 tbsp
- vegan chunks, doner style 555 g
- oat cream 200 g
- water 75 ml
- Vemondo vegan spätzle 500 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and cut them in half.
- 2. Dice the onions very finely.
- 3. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the root ends of the spring onions.
- 5. Remove the outer skin layer of the spring onions if necessary.
- 6. Cut the white part of the spring onions into thin rings.
- 7. Cut the green part of the spring onions separately into thin rings.
- 8. Clean the mushrooms with a kitchen cloth if necessary.
- 9. Cut the mushrooms into quarters or eighths depending on their size.
- 10. Pour about 4 liters of water into a pot and salt it.
- 11. Cover the pot with the water.
- 12. Bring the salted water to a boil.
- 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on the highest setting.
- 14. Add the vegan chunks to the hot pan.
- 15. Fry the vegan chunks thoroughly on all sides.
- 16. Fry the vegan chunks for about 2 minutes.
- 17. Remove the fried vegan chunks from the pan.
- 18. Place the vegan chunks on a plate.
- 19. Set aside the plates with the vegan chunks.
- 20. Do not clean the pan.
- 21. Add 3 tablespoons of oil to the pan with the pan drippings.
- 22. Add the mushrooms to the pan.
- 23. Lightly salt the mushrooms.
- 24. Fry the mushrooms on medium to high heat.
- 25. Fry the mushrooms thoroughly on all sides.
- 26. Fry the mushrooms for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 27. Fry the mushrooms until golden brown.
- 28. Add the white rings of the spring onions to the pan.
- 29. Add the diced onions to the pan.
- 30. Cook the onions on medium heat.
- 31. Cook the onions for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 32. Add the oat cream to the pan.
- 33. Add 75 milliliters of water to the pan.
- 34. Let the mixture simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- 35. Stir the vegan chunks into the sauce.
- 36. Stir the green part of the spring onions into the sauce.
- 37. Keep the sliced meat warm.
- 38. Add the spätzle to the simmering salted water.
- 39. Make sure the water is no longer boiling vigorously.
- 40. Let the spätzle cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 41. Stir the spätzle occasionally.
- 42. Wait until the spätzle rise to the surface.
- 43. Drain the cooked spätzle into a sieve.
- 44. Season the vegan sliced meat with salt.
- 45. Season the vegan sliced meat with pepper.
- 46. Plate the sliced meat.
- 47. Add the spätzle to the plates.
- 48. Serve the dish.
