  1. 1. Mix vegan spread, vegan mayonnaise, and mustard in a bowl.
  2. 2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. 3. Set the sauce aside to let the flavors meld.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over high heat.
  5. 5. Fry the smoked tofu slices for about 4–5 minutes until crispy and golden brown on all sides.
  6. 6. Drain the tofu on kitchen paper.
  7. 7. Let the tofu cool down briefly.
  8. 8. Wash the tomato and remove the core.
  9. 9. Slice the tomato.
  10. 10. Wash the cucumber and remove the ends.
  11. 11. Peel the cucumber.
  12. 12. Slice the cucumber lengthwise into thin slices.
  13. 13. Halve the iceberg lettuce.
  14. 14. Cut the iceberg lettuce into very thin strips.
  15. 15. Wash the cut lettuce strips.
  16. 16. Spin the lettuce dry.
  17. 17. Add the iceberg lettuce to the mayonnaise-mustard mixture in the bowl.
  18. 18. Mix the lettuce with the sauce thoroughly.
  19. 19. Season the salad mixture with salt and pepper if necessary.
  20. 20. Cut two slices of rye bread of approximately equal thickness.
  21. 21. Spread the lettuce-mayonnaise mixture onto both bread slices.
  22. 22. Top one of the bread slices with smoked tofu.
  23. 23. Place the tomato slices on the tofu.
  24. 24. Place the cucumber slices on the tomato.
  25. 25. Cover the sandwich with the second bread slice.
  26. 26. Serve the vegan club sandwich.
