Ingredients
- garlic cloves 4 pcs
- tomatoes, dried 100 g
- basil, fresh 10 g
- baguette 1 pcs
- olive oil 3 tbsp
- Italian herbs, dried 1 tsp
- tomato paste 4 tbsp
- pepper, sweet 1 tsp
- margarine, vegan 4 tbsp
- sugar pinch
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- 3. Finely chop the dried tomatoes.
- 4. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 5. Finely chop the basil.
- 6. Cut the baguette lengthwise into two halves.
- 7. Put the olive oil, chopped garlic, and Italian herbs into a pot.
- 8. Heat the mixture on medium heat.
- 9. Let the ingredients sweat for about 5 minutes.
- 10. Put the garlic mixture, basil, dried tomatoes, tomato paste, sweet paprika powder, and margarine into a bowl.
- 11. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a fork.
- 12. Season the mixture with sugar, salt, and pepper.
- 13. Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 14. Spread the tomato cream evenly over the baguette halves.
- 15. Bake the baguette for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 16. Cut the finished baguette into strips about 3 centimeters thick.
- 17. Serve the baguette and enjoy your meal.
