🍰 Vegan Stollen with Marzipan

Ingredients
- oat drink 300 ml
- yeast, fresh 1 pcs
- sugar 3 tbsp
- margarine, vegan 150 g
- salt 1 tsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 500 g
- marzipan base 70 g
- orange marmalade 20 g
- raisins 20 g
- powdered sugar 5 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Warm oat drink in a pot for about 1 minute until it is lukewarm.
- 2. Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm oat drink.
- 3. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of sugar in the yeast drink mixture.
- 4. Let the mixture rise in the pot with the lid on for about 10 minutes.
- 5. Add the remaining ingredients to a bowl: yeast drink mixture, sugar, margarine, salt, flour, marzipan paste, orange marmalade, and raisins.
- 6. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 7. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes.
- 8. Shape the dough on a lightly floured surface into a stollen loaf.
- 9. Place the stollen on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 10. Let the stollen rise covered for about 30 minutes.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan.
- 12. Bake the stollen with raisins for about 30 minutes.
- 13. Let the stollen cool down.
- 14. Dust the finished stollen with powdered sugar.
