🍰 Vegan Marble Cake

Ingredients
- vegan margarine 120 g
- sugar 200 g
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- salt pinch
- soy drink 250 ml
- vinegar 1 tsp
- wheat flour, type 405 300 g
- cornstarch 20 g
- baking powder 1 packet
- cocoa powder 3 tbsp
- powdered sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 2. Place the soft margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- 3. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer until fluffy.
- 4. Stir in the soy drink and the vinegar.
- 5. Add the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.
- 6. Stir the dry ingredients in briefly until just combined.
- 7. Grease the cake tin and dust it with flour.
- 8. Pour three quarters of the batter into the prepared tin.
- 9. Mix the remaining batter with 50 milliliters of soy drink and cocoa.
- 10. Add the dark batter to the tin as well.
- 11. Drag a fork through the batter a few times to create a marble effect.
- 12. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes.
- 13. Let the cake cool down for a short while.
- 14. Carefully turn the cake out onto a wire rack.
- 15. Let the cake cool completely.
- 16. Dust the cake with powdered sugar.
- 17. Serve the cake and enjoy.
