🍰 Vegan Kaiserschmarrn Preparation

Ingredients
- Vanilla Sugar 2 packets
- Sugar 4 tbsp
- Baking Powder 2 packets
- Wheat Flour, Type 405 400 g
- Soy Drink 600 ml
- Mineral Water, classic 100 ml
- Margarine, vegan 4 tbsp
- Icing Sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Put vanilla sugar, 3 tablespoons of sugar, baking powder, and flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Mix the dry ingredients with a hand mixer.
- 3. Pour in the soy drink and mineral water.
- 4. Whisk the batter quickly until it is airy.
- 5. Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 6. Pour half of the batter into the hot pan.
- 7. Fry the batter for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden yellow.
- 8. Wait until small bubbles form on the surface.
- 9. Divide the batter into halves or quarters using a spatula.
- 10. Flip the batter pieces.
- 11. Fry the other side for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 12. Break the finished Kaiserschmarrn into small pieces with the spatula.
- 13. Dust the pieces with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- 14. Fry the pieces until golden brown while stirring constantly for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 15. Make sure the sugar caramelizes slightly.
- 16. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- 17. Serve the Kaiserschmarrn on plates.
- 18. Dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
