  1. 1. Put vanilla sugar, 3 tablespoons of sugar, baking powder, and flour into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Mix the dry ingredients with a hand mixer.
  3. 3. Pour in the soy drink and mineral water.
  4. 4. Whisk the batter quickly until it is airy.
  5. 5. Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Pour half of the batter into the hot pan.
  7. 7. Fry the batter for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden yellow.
  8. 8. Wait until small bubbles form on the surface.
  9. 9. Divide the batter into halves or quarters using a spatula.
  10. 10. Flip the batter pieces.
  11. 11. Fry the other side for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  12. 12. Break the finished Kaiserschmarrn into small pieces with the spatula.
  13. 13. Dust the pieces with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  14. 14. Fry the pieces until golden brown while stirring constantly for 1 to 2 minutes.
  15. 15. Make sure the sugar caramelizes slightly.
  16. 16. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  17. 17. Serve the Kaiserschmarrn on plates.
  18. 18. Dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
