🍽️ Vegan Alsatian Flammkuchen with Smoked Tofu and Grated Cheese

Ingredients
- Wheat flour, Type 405 600 g
- Water 400 ml
- Salt pinch
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Onions, yellow 2 pcs
- Smoked tofu 125 g
- Vegan fresh spread, plain 150 g
- Soy yogurt 50 g
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Olive oil 2 tsp
- Vemondo Grating Delight 125 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius. Set the heating mode to top and bottom heat.
- 2. Put flour, water, salt, and three tablespoons of oil into a bowl.
- 3. Work the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 4. Divide the dough into two equal balls.
- 5. Cover the dough balls with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.
- 7. Cut the onions in half.
- 8. Remove the skin from the onions.
- 9. Dice the onions finely.
- 10. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
- 11. Put the vegan spread into a separate bowl.
- 12. Add the soy yogurt.
- 13. Season the mixture with pepper and a pinch of salt.
- 14. Add a splash of olive oil.
- 15. Mix all ingredients of the sauce mixture well.
- 16. Place baking paper on the baking sheets.
- 17. Roll out the first portion of dough evenly on the baking paper.
- 18. Lift the dough together with the baking paper onto the baking sheet.
- 19. Repeat the rolling out with the second portion of dough.
- 20. Spread the soy yogurt mixture evenly over the doughs.
- 21. Distribute the diced onions over the doughs.
- 22. Add the smoked tofu cubes on top.
- 23. Sprinkle the Vemondo grated cheese substitute over it.
- 24. Put the flammkuchen into the oven one after the other.
- 25. Bake them for about 8 minutes.
- 26. Take them out when they are crispy and golden brown.
- 27. Cut the flammkuchen into pieces.
- 28. Season them to taste with additional pepper.
- 29. Serve the flammkuchen immediately while hot.
