🍽️ Vegan Flammcake with Caramelized Pears and Walnuts

Ingredients
- Wheat flour, Type 405 600 g
- Water 300 ml
- Salt 1 tsp
- Olive oil 4 tbsp
- Pears 2 pcs.
- Walnut kernels 80 g
- Vegan fresh spread, plain 150 g
- Soy yogurt 3 tbsp
- Pepper, colorful pinch
- Agave syrup 4 tbsp
- Vegan shepherd's delight 150 g
- Mint, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Put flour, water, salt, and three tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl.
- 3. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 4. Divide the dough into four equal parts.
- 5. Shape each part into a ball.
- 6. Cover the dough balls with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.
- 8. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 9. Remove the core from the pears.
- 10. Halve the pears.
- 11. Slice the pear halves into thin slices.
- 12. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
- 13. Put the natural vegan spread into a bowl.
- 14. Add the soy yogurt.
- 15. Add one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 16. Stir the mixture well.
- 17. Season the cream with salt and pepper.
- 18. Take one quarter of the dough and place it on a piece of baking paper.
- 19. Roll the dough out evenly and thinly.
- 20. Repeat this with the remaining dough quarters.
- 21. Place the rolled-out flammkuchen along with the baking paper onto a baking sheet.
- 22. Spread the prepared cream over the flammkuchen dough.
- 23. Distribute the pear slices as desired on top.
- 24. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over it.
- 25. Drizzle some agave syrup over it.
- 26. Cut the vegan delight block into cubes of about one centimeter in size.
- 27. Wash the mint.
- 28. Shake the mint dry.
- 29. Chop the mint finely.
- 30. Bake the flammkuchen one after the other in the oven.
- 31. Bake for about eight minutes.
- 32. The flammkuchen should be crispy and golden brown.
- 33. Carefully remove the flammkuchen from the oven.
- 34. Cut the flammkuchen into pieces.
- 35. Distribute the cubes of the vegan delight block on top.
- 36. Garnish the flammkuchen with the chopped mint.
- 37. Serve the flammkuchen immediately.
