🍽️ Vegan Burgers with Fresh Guacamole

Ingredients
- Vegan burger mix 150 g
- Water 300 ml
- Vine tomatoes 1 pc.
- Pickle cucumbers 2 pc.
- Romaine lettuce 0.25 pc.
- Onions, red 1 pc.
- Organic limes 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Cilantro, fresh 10 g
- Avocado 2 pc.
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Hamburger buns 8 pc.
- Ketchup 8 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Put 150 grams of the burger mix into a bowl.
- 2. Pour 300 milliliters of very cold water into the bowl.
- 3. Stir the mixture thoroughly until everything is well combined.
- 4. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the mixture swell.
- 5. Wash the tomato under running water.
- 6. Slice the washed tomato into thin rounds.
- 7. Let the cucumbers drain.
- 8. Slice the cucumbers as well.
- 9. Carefully separate the lettuce leaves from each other.
- 10. Wash the individual lettuce leaves.
- 11. Dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly, for example with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Peel the onion.
- 13. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 14. Cut the lime in half.
- 15. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
- 16. Peel the garlic.
- 17. Finely chop the garlic.
- 18. Wash the cilantro.
- 19. Dry the cilantro.
- 20. Pluck the cilantro leaves from the stems.
- 21. Roughly chop the cilantro leaves.
- 22. Cut the avocados in half lengthwise.
- 23. Remove the pits from the avocado halves.
- 24. Scoop the flesh of the avocados out of the skin with a spoon.
- 25. Put the avocado flesh into a bowl.
- 26. Mash the avocado with a fork.
- 27. Stir the chopped garlic into the avocado.
- 28. Stir the chopped cilantro into the avocado.
- 29. Add the lime juice.
- 30. Season the guacamole with salt and pepper.
- 31. Moisten your hands with a little water.
- 32. Shape eight patties from the burger mixture using damp hands.
- 33. Put oil into a frying pan.
- 34. Heat the oil on high heat.
- 35. Fry the patties on the first side for about 4 minutes.
- 36. Turn the patties over.
- 37. Fry the patties on the second side for another 4 minutes as well.
- 38. Cut the burger buns in half.
- 39. Spread the guacamole on the bottom halves of the buns.
- 40. Place a fried burger patty on top.
- 41. Place tomato slices on top.
- 42. Place cucumber slices on top.
- 43. Place the lettuce leaves on top.
- 44. Place the onion rings on top.
- 45. Add ketchup on top.
- 46. Place the top halves of the buns on.
- 47. Serve the burgers immediately.
