  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
  2. 2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  3. 3. Place the potato pieces in a pot and cover them with enough water.
  4. 4. Bring the water to a boil.
  5. 5. Cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes until they are soft.
  6. 6. Drain the cooking water.
  7. 7. Let the potatoes steam dry in the pot.
  8. 8. Press the warm potatoes through a potato ricer.
  9. 9. Place the mashed potatoes in a large bowl.
  10. 10. Add flour, Vemondo egg replacer, Barista oat drink, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  11. 11. Mix all ingredients to form a smooth dough.
  12. 12. Wash the plums thoroughly.
  13. 13. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
  14. 14. Take about two tablespoons of dumpling dough.
  15. 15. Flatten the dough slightly in your palm.
  16. 16. Place one plum half in the center of the dough.
  17. 17. Close the dough around the plum to form a dumpling.
  18. 18. Repeat this process with the remaining dough and plum halves.
  19. 19. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  20. 20. Reduce the heat so that the water is only simmering gently.
  21. 21. Carefully place the plum dumplings into the hot water.
  22. 22. Cook the dumplings for about 10 minutes.
  23. 23. Remove the dumplings as soon as they float to the surface.
  24. 24. Melt margarine in a frying pan over low heat.
  25. 25. Add brown sugar and breadcrumbs to the melted margarine.
  26. 26. Fry the mixture slowly for about 5 minutes until it turns brown.
  27. 27. Take the cooked dumplings out of the pot.
  28. 28. Let them drain briefly.
  29. 29. Coat the dumplings with the brown margarine-sugar mixture.
  30. 30. Serve the dumplings warm.
