Ingredients
- oil 5 tbsp
- wheat flour, type 405 5 tbsp
- dry white wine 150 ml
- soy drink 350 ml
- bay leaves, dried 1 pc
- salt pinch
- pepper, white ground pinch
- nutmeg, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 2. Sift the flour directly into the hot oil.
- 3. Stir the mixture for about 2 minutes until it starts to sizzle lightly.
- 4. Deglaze the mixture slowly with white wine.
- 5. Stir vigorously to prevent lumps from forming.
- 6. Pour in the soy drink.
- 7. Add a bay leaf to the sauce.
- 8. Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- 9. Check the consistency until the sauce is creamy.
- 10. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
- 11. Serve the vegan white sauce as desired.
