🍽️ Vegan Vetti Balls

Ingredients
- Rice wafers, plain 15 pcs.
- Tomato paste 3 tbsp.
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp.
- Mustard 2 tsp.
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sweet paprika 1 tsp.
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Peppercorns 1 tbsp.
Instructions
- 1. Break the rice cake into small crumbs using your hands.
- 2. Place the crumbs in a sieve and rinse them briefly with water.
- 3. Transfer the rinsed crumbs into a bowl.
- 4. Add tomato paste, soy sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 5. Knead the ingredients together with your hands until you form a firm mixture similar to raw minced pork.
- 6. Season the mixture to taste with salt and pepper.
- 7. Place the bowl in the refrigerator until you are ready to shape the balls.
- 8. Cut the onion in half and peel off the skin.
- 9. Dice the onion into coarse chunks.
- 10. Take about one tablespoon of the rice cake mixture.
- 11. Shape the portion into a teardrop-shaped ball using your hands.
- 12. Place the finished Vetti ball onto a plate.
- 13. Sprinkle the chopped onions over the balls.
- 14. Press two peppercorns lightly into the mixture to create eyes.
- 15. Serve the Vegan Vetti balls with bread and salad as desired.
