🍽️ Vegan Spanish Potato Tortilla

Ingredients
- potatoes, waxy 900 g
- salt pinch
- spring onions 3 pcs
- olive oil 8 tbsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 120 g
- water 250 ml
- turmeric, ground 0.5 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into approx. 1 cm cubes. Sprinkle with some salt.
- 2. Halve the onions and peel them. Dice the onions finely.
- 3. Heat 4 tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 4. Fry the onions in it for approx. 5 minutes.
- 5. Turn the pan to low heat and add the potatoes.
- 6. Cook the potatoes with the lid closed for approx. 15 minutes.
- 7. Mix flour, water, and turmeric powder in a bowl.
- 8. Add the fried potatoes and onions to the flour mixture.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 10. Let the mixture rest for approx. 5 minutes.
- 11. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- 12. Pour the tortilla mixture into the hot pan.
- 13. Fry the tortilla for approx. 5 minutes.
- 14. Place a large plate on top of the pan.
- 15. Invert the tortilla onto the plate.
- 16. Put the tortilla back into the pan to fry the other side.
- 17. Fry the second side for approx. 5 minutes.
- 18. Invert the finished tortilla onto a plate.
- 19. Let the tortilla cool down a bit.
- 20. Enjoy your meal!
