  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into approx. 1 cm cubes. Sprinkle with some salt.
  2. 2. Halve the onions and peel them. Dice the onions finely.
  3. 3. Heat 4 tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Fry the onions in it for approx. 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Turn the pan to low heat and add the potatoes.
  6. 6. Cook the potatoes with the lid closed for approx. 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Mix flour, water, and turmeric powder in a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the fried potatoes and onions to the flour mixture.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Let the mixture rest for approx. 5 minutes.
  11. 11. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  12. 12. Pour the tortilla mixture into the hot pan.
  13. 13. Fry the tortilla for approx. 5 minutes.
  14. 14. Place a large plate on top of the pan.
  15. 15. Invert the tortilla onto the plate.
  16. 16. Put the tortilla back into the pan to fry the other side.
  17. 17. Fry the second side for approx. 5 minutes.
  18. 18. Invert the finished tortilla onto a plate.
  19. 19. Let the tortilla cool down a bit.
