  1. 1. Peel the onions and cut them in half.
  2. 2. Cut one of the onions into thin half-rings.
  3. 3. Dice the second onion very finely.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  5. 5. Dice the bell pepper into small pieces.
  6. 6. Peel the avocado and slice the flesh into strips.
  7. 7. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  8. 8. Add the finely diced onion, garlic, bell pepper, and vegan mince to the pot.
  9. 9. Fry the mixture for about 3 minutes.
  10. 10. Stir in the tomato paste and mustard.
  11. 11. Fry the spices for 1 minute.
  12. 12. Add paprika powder, Smokehouse BBQ spice mix, chili flakes, ketchup, and soy sauce.
  13. 13. Top the mixture with chopped tomatoes.
  14. 14. Simmer the mince mixture with the lid on for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
  15. 15. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.
  16. 16. Heat a frying pan over high heat.
  17. 17. Split the burger buns in half.
  18. 18. Place the bun halves cut-side down in the hot pan.
  19. 19. Toast the buns for about 1 minute.
  20. 20. Spread the warm mince mixture onto the bun halves.
  21. 21. Garnish the burgers with the avocado strips and onion rings.
