🍽️ Vegan Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients
- vegan margarine 4 tbsp
- wheat flour, type 405 3 tbsp
- dry white wine 100 ml
- soy drink 300 ml
- dried bay leaves 1 pc
- ground turmeric 0.25 tsp
- lemons 1 pc
- salt pinch
- ground white pepper pinch
Instructions
- 1. Melt the margarine in a pot over medium heat.
- 2. Dust the melted margarine with flour.
- 3. Cook the mixture for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Deglaze the mixture gradually with white wine.
- 5. Stir vigorously to avoid lumps.
- 6. Pour in the soy drink and stir until the sauce is smooth.
- 7. Add a bay leaf and turmeric to the sauce.
- 8. Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- 9. Wait until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 10. Cut a lemon in half.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 12. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 13. Add the lemon juice and stir.
- 14. Serve the sauce immediately.
