  1. 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
  2. 2. Dice the onion into very small cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
  4. 4. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
  5. 5. Heat margarine in a pot over medium heat until it has melted.
  6. 6. Add the diced onion and chopped garlic to the margarine.
  7. 7. Sauté the vegetables for about 2 minutes until they become translucent.
  8. 8. Stir the flour into the onion mixture.
  9. 9. Cook the flour with the mixture for about 1 minute.
  10. 10. Pour the soy drink into the mixture.
  11. 11. Stir vigorously until the sauce is smooth and free of lumps.
  12. 12. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  13. 13. Add turmeric and the vegan grated cheese substitute to the sauce.
  14. 14. Stir everything well until a uniform consistency is achieved.
  15. 15. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  16. 16. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice.
  17. 17. Serve the finished sauce warm.
