🍽️ Vegan Grated Cheese-Style Sauce

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- lemons 1 pc.
- margarine, vegan 4 tbsp
- wheat flour, type 405 2 tbsp
- soy drink 500 ml
- turmeric, ground 0.25 tsp
- Vemondo grated delight 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Dice the onion into very small cubes.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- 4. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 5. Heat margarine in a pot over medium heat until it has melted.
- 6. Add the diced onion and chopped garlic to the margarine.
- 7. Sauté the vegetables for about 2 minutes until they become translucent.
- 8. Stir the flour into the onion mixture.
- 9. Cook the flour with the mixture for about 1 minute.
- 10. Pour the soy drink into the mixture.
- 11. Stir vigorously until the sauce is smooth and free of lumps.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
- 13. Add turmeric and the vegan grated cheese substitute to the sauce.
- 14. Stir everything well until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- 15. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 16. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice.
- 17. Serve the finished sauce warm.
