🍰 Vegan New York Rolls with Strawberries

Ingredients
- puff pastry 2 pcs.
- powdered sugar 3 tbsp.
- vegan fresh spread, plain 150 g
- strawberry jam 8 tbsp.
- strawberries 6 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Lightly flour a work surface.
- 3. Take the puff pastry out of the packaging and roll it out slightly on the floured surface.
- 4. Sprinkle powdered sugar evenly over the entire surface of the first puff pastry sheet.
- 5. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the second puff pastry sheet as well.
- 6. Place the second puff pastry sheet directly on top of the first one.
- 7. Roll the two stacked pastry sheets tightly into a roll.
- 8. Cut the puff pastry roll into slices about 2 centimeters thick.
- 9. Place one pastry slice into each cup of a muffin tin.
- 10. Cover the muffin tin with a piece of baking paper.
- 11. Place a second baking sheet on top of the baking paper to weigh it down.
- 12. Place the tin in the preheated oven.
- 13. Bake the rolls for about 20 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 14. Put the natural spread and strawberry jam into a bowl.
- 15. Mix the ingredients with a hand mixer and whisk until you have a smooth cream.
- 16. Place the cream in the refrigerator for a while to let it cool down.
- 17. Take the baked puff pastry rolls out of the oven.
- 18. Let the rolls cool down for about 5 minutes.
- 19. Fill the cooled rolls with the cold cream.
- 20. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
- 21. Remove the stems and cut the strawberries into eighths.
- 22. Garnish the filled rolls with the strawberry pieces.
- 23. Serve the rolls immediately and enjoy them.
