  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (top/bottom heat). Drain the chickpeas in a sieve and collect the liquid. In a bowl, whip 200 ml of the chickpea liquid with cream of tartar until stiff for about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Gently fold in the powdered sugar and shredded coconut. Place small portions on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using two spoons and bake for approx. 30 minutes in the oven. Remove from the oven after baking and let cool.
  3. 3. Bring about 500 ml of water to a boil in a pot. Roughly chop the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a water bath. Decorate the vegan coconut macaroons with the melted chocolate, let them cool and serve. Enjoy!
