  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
  2. 2. Wash the kale thoroughly.
  3. 3. Tear the kale into bite-sized pieces.
  4. 4. Spin the kale dry.
  5. 5. Cube the smoked tofu into small pieces.
  6. 6. Halve the onion and peel it.
  7. 7. Dice the onion finely.
  8. 8. Wash the apple.
  9. 9. Remove the core from the apple.
  10. 10. Dice the apple finely.
  11. 11. Heat oil in a frying pan on high heat.
  12. 12. Fry the smoked tofu, onion, and apple for about 3 minutes.
  13. 13. Add the kale to the pan.
  14. 14. Fry the kale on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Take a bowl.
  16. 16. Mix the vegan spread natural with the contents of the pan.
  17. 17. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Set the filling aside.
  19. 19. Roll out the puff pastry.
  20. 20. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal squares.
  21. 21. Place about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the kale filling in the center of each square.
  22. 22. Fold the corners of the square together in the middle.
  23. 23. Form a point with the folded corners.
  24. 24. Brush the puff pastry with soy drink.
  25. 25. Sprinkle the puff pastry with a little raw cane sugar.
  26. 26. Bake the puff pastry pockets for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
