  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Roughly chop the dates.
  3. 3. Peel the banana.
  4. 4. Place the dates and banana in a tall container.
  5. 5. Pour in the oat drink.
  6. 6. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  7. 7. Take a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the flour to the bowl.
  9. 9. Add the baking powder to the bowl.
  10. 10. Add the vanilla sugar to the bowl.
  11. 11. Add the cocoa powder to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add the cinnamon to the bowl.
  13. 13. Stir the dry ingredients well.
  14. 14. Add the date-oat mixture to the dry ingredients.
  15. 15. Mix everything thoroughly.
  16. 16. Line a baking frame with baking paper.
  17. 17. Spread the batter evenly in the baking frame.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts over the top.
  19. 19. Bake the brownies for approx. 30 minutes in the oven.
  20. 20. Drain the cherries into a sieve.
  21. 21. Catch the cherry juice.
  22. 22. Take a small bowl.
  23. 23. Add 5 tablespoons of cherry juice to the bowl.
  24. 24. Stir the cornstarch into the cherry juice.
  25. 25. Take a pot.
  26. 26. Pour the red wine into the pot.
  27. 27. Add 100 milliliters of the remaining cherry juice to the pot.
  28. 28. Add the maple syrup to the pot.
  29. 29. Add the gingerbread spice to the pot.
  30. 30. Bring the liquid to a boil.
  31. 31. Add the cherries to the pot.
  32. 32. Bring the mixture to a boil again briefly.
  33. 33. Stir in the cornstarch-cherry juice mixture.
  34. 34. Simmer the mulled wine cherries for approx. 2 minutes.
  35. 35. Set the mulled wine cherries aside to cool.
  36. 36. Take the finished brownies out of the oven.
  37. 37. Portion the brownies while they are still warm.
  38. 38. Plate the brownies.
  39. 39. Add the mulled wine cherries.
  40. 40. Serve the brownies lukewarm.
