🍽️ Vegan Cauliflower Buffalo Wings

Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 pc.
- Wheat flour, Type 405 100 g
- Soy drink 150 ml
- Water 50 ml
- Smokehouse BBQ Rub 3 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Breadcrumbs 200 g
- Barbecue sauce 250 ml
- Cola 50 ml
- Chili, ground 0.5 tsp
- Tabasco 1 tsp
- Spring onions 1 bunch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly.
- 3. Remove the hard core at the base.
- 4. Break the cauliflower into florets about 2 centimeters in size.
- 5. Whisk flour, soy drink, water, BBQ rub, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until smooth.
- 6. Place the breadcrumbs into a shallow bowl.
- 7. Dip each cauliflower floret briefly into the liquid mixture.
- 8. Let the excess liquid drip off for a moment.
- 9. Roll the florets in the breadcrumbs until they are fully coated.
- 10. Place the breaded florets on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 11. Bake the cauliflower wings in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 12. Whisk barbecue sauce, cola, chili, and Tabasco together in a separate bowl.
- 13. Remove the cauliflower from the oven after 20 minutes.
- 14. Brush the florets generously with the prepared BBQ marinade.
- 15. Return the tray to the oven and bake the wings for another 25 minutes.
- 16. Wash the spring onions thoroughly in the meantime.
- 17. Shake the spring onions dry.
- 18. Trim off the root ends of the spring onions.
- 19. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 20. Remove the finished cauliflower wings from the oven.
- 21. Sprinkle the wings with the sliced spring onions.
- 22. Serve the wings immediately and enjoy your meal.
