🍕 Vegan BBQ Pizza with Smoked Tofu, Mince, Red Onions and BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
- onions, red 1 pc.
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- corn from the can 80 g
- smoked tofu 1 pc.
- grill sauce 200 g
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs.
- Smokehouse BBQ Rub 3 tsp
- oil 4 tbsp
- Vemondo vegan mince 275 g
- Vemondo grating delight 150 g
- oregano, dried pinch
- chives, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onions and remove the outer layers.
- 2. Cut the peeled onions into thin strips.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the hard stem end from the tomatoes.
- 5. Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds.
- 6. Drain the corn in a sieve to let the liquid run off.
- 7. Cut the smoked tofu into thin strips.
- 8. Take a bowl and add the grill sauce.
- 9. Add one jar of tomato sauce to the grill sauce.
- 10. Add the Smokehouse BBQ Rub (a spice mix).
- 11. Whisk the sauce ingredients together well.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 250 °C with top and bottom heat.
- 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 14. Fry the vegan mince in it for approx. 5 minutes until crumbly.
- 15. Remove the fried mince from the pan and place it on a plate.
- 16. Heat another 2 tablespoons of oil in the same pan over medium heat.
- 17. Fry the smoked tofu for approx. 3 minutes on all sides.
- 18. Place the baking paper on the baking trays.
- 19. Roll out the pizza dough on the baking paper.
- 20. Spread the prepared BBQ tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- 21. Leave a border of approx. 1 cm width free at the edge of the dough.
- 22. Sprinkle the pizza evenly with Reibegenuss (shredded cheese substitute).
- 23. Top the pizza with the vegan mince as desired.
- 24. Distribute the smoked tofu on the pizza.
- 25. Add the sliced red onions.
- 26. Place the tomato slices on the pizza.
- 27. Sprinkle the drained corn over the pizza.
- 28. Sprinkle the pizza with oregano (a fragrant herb).
- 29. Place the pizzas one after the other on the lower rack of the oven.
- 30. Bake the pizzas for approx. 10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- 31. Wash the chives thoroughly.
- 32. Shake the chives dry.
- 33. Cut the chives into thin rings.
- 34. Cut the finished pizzas into four pieces.
- 35. Garnish the pizza pieces with the chive rings.
- 36. Serve the pizza immediately.

- 38. Tip: You can also use the leftover BBQ tomato sauce as a dip for the pizza.
