🍰 Vanilla Dumplings with Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients
- Quark 40% fat in total 500 g
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Vanilla pudding powder 74 g
- Sugar 85 g
- Strawberries 250 g
- Butter 30 g
- Vanilla Sugar 8 g
- Salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Place the quark in a clean kitchen towel.
- 2. Squeeze the quark firmly until about 375 grams remain.
- 3. Separate the egg and save the egg white for another use.
- 4. Mix the drained quark in a bowl with pudding powder, 50 grams of sugar, and the egg yolk.
- 5. Let the dough rise covered for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Bring about 4 liters of water to a boil in a pot.
- 7. Shape the dough into 8 dumplings.
- 8. Let the dumplings cook gently (not boiling) for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- 9. Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves.
- 10. Slice 50 grams of the strawberries.
- 11. Puree the rest of the strawberries in a tall container with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
- 12. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 13. Stir the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar into the butter briefly.
- 14. Let the cooked dumplings drain well.
- 15. Arrange the dumplings on the strawberry puree.
- 16. Decorate the dumplings with the strawberry slices.
- 17. Pour the vanilla butter over the dumplings.
