🍰 Vanilla Pears with Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
- vanilla pod 1 pc.
- dry white wine 800 ml
- sugar 4 tbsp
- pears 4 pc.
- whipping cream 200 g
- chocolate ice cream 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the tiny seeds from the pod with a knife.
- 3. Place the seeds and the empty pod into a pot.
- 4. Add the wine and the sugar.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 6. Peel the pears but leave the stem attached.
- 7. Add the pears to the boiling liquid.
- 8. Reduce the heat to low.
- 9. Cover the pot.
- 10. Let the pears simmer gently for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 11. Turn the pears once halfway through the cooking time.
- 12. Remove the cooked pears from the pot.
- 13. Let the remaining liquid reduce for about 5 to 7 minutes.
- 14. Place the pears and the syrup liquid into a bowl.
- 15. Let the pears cool down.
- 16. Pour the cream into a separate bowl.
- 17. Whip the cream stiffly using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment.
- 18. Take a cooled vanilla pear.
- 19. Drizzle some syrup over the pear.
- 20. Place a scoop of chocolate ice cream next to it.
- 21. Fill the whipped cream into a piping bag.
- 22. Pipe small heart shapes of cream around the ice cream.
- 23. Serve the dessert immediately.
