🍰 Chocolate Surprise Cake

Ingredients
- bittersweet chocolate coating 250 g
- butter 300 g
- eggs 5 pcs.
- sugar 300 g
- milk 100 ml
- wheat flour, type 405 300 g
- cocoa powder 100 g
- baking powder 0.5 packet
- chocolate lentils 100 g
- whipping cream 100 ml
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Roughly chop the chocolate coating into small pieces.
- 3. Beat the soft butter in a bowl with a hand mixer and whisk until fluffy.
- 4. Add the eggs and sugar alternately to the butter and mix the mixture well.
- 5. Stir the milk into the butter-egg mixture.
- 6. Add flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and stir everything into a smooth batter.
- 7. Mix 150 grams of the chopped coating into the batter.
- 8. Pour the batter into a springform pan.
- 9. Bake the cake in the oven for about 60 minutes.
- 10. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
- 11. Cut the cold cake horizontally exactly in the middle.
- 12. Use a round cookie cutter to cut a hole in the center of the bottom cake layer.
- 13. Fill the hole in the center with chocolate lentils.
- 14. Place the top cake layer back on to seal the filling.
- 15. Bring the cream to a boil in a pot.
- 16. Melt the remaining chopped coating in the hot cream.
- 17. Stir the chocolate cream until smooth and let it cool down briefly.
- 18. Pour the chocolate cream over the cake.
- 19. Let the coated cake cool for about 15 minutes.
- 20. Serve the cake and enjoy it.
