🍽️ Crispy Tuna Gratin

Ingredients
- Tuna in its own juice 300 g
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Dill, fresh 20 g
- Mayonnaise 7 tbsp
- Balsamic vinegar, light 1 tsp
- Honey 1 tsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Gouda, young block 100 g
- Toast bread 8 slices
Instructions
- 1. Turn the oven to 250 degrees top heat or grill function and let it preheat.
- 2. Pour the tuna into a sieve to let the liquid drain off.
- 3. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
- 4. Cut the peeled onion into small, fine cubes.
- 5. Rinse the dill sprigs under running water.
- 6. Dry the dill by shaking it.
- 7. Pluck the fine dill tips from the stems.
- 8. Finely chop the dill tips with a knife.
- 9. Take a large bowl and add the diced onion, chopped dill, tuna meat, and mayonnaise.
- 10. Add some vinegar, honey, mustard, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
- 11. Mix all ingredients in the bowl well together.
- 12. Finally, adjust the filling to taste with salt and pepper if necessary.
- 13. Slice the Gouda cheese into thin slices.
- 14. Place the toast slices in the toaster and toast them lightly.
- 15. Spread the tuna mayonnaise mixture evenly over the toasted toast slices.
- 16. Place the Gouda slices on top of the spread toast slice.
- 17. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 18. Place the topped toast slices on the prepared tray.
- 19. Put the tray into the preheated oven.
- 20. Gratin the sandwiches for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
- 21. Take the tray out of the oven.
- 22. Cut each toast slice diagonally in half.
- 23. Serve the warm sandwiches immediately.
