  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (grill function). Brush the bread slices with butter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top each slice with a slice of ham, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the oven for 3–5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium heat and crack the eggs into it. Fry them for about 3 minutes.
  3. 3. Season the eggs with salt and pepper. Remove the bread from the oven, place a fried egg on each slice, and serve with the gherkins cut lengthwise into quarters. Enjoy your meal!
