  1. 1. Place the rice in a pot and cover it with about 700 milliliters of salted water.
  2. 2. Cook the rice over low heat for about 12 minutes.
  3. 3. Cut the onions in half lengthwise and peel them.
  4. 4. Slice the peeled onions into thin strips.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic and chop it roughly.
  6. 6. Wash the red pepper and cut it in half lengthwise.
  7. 7. Remove the stem and seeds from the pepper.
  8. 8. Cut the deseeded red pepper into coarse cubes.
  9. 9. Wash the zucchini and trim the ends.
  10. 10. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
  11. 11. Slice the zucchini halves into rounds.
  12. 12. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  13. 13. Fry half of the onion strips together with the garlic and red pepper for about 5 minutes.
  14. 14. Transfer the fried mixture into a tall container.
  15. 15. Add the chopped tomatoes, marjoram, and cream.
  16. 16. Blend the ingredients finely into a sauce.
  17. 17. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  18. 18. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  19. 19. Heat another two tablespoons of oil in the pan over high heat.
  20. 20. Fry the chicken breast pieces for about 2 minutes on all sides.
  21. 21. Add the yellow pepper, the remaining onions, and the zucchini to the pan.
  22. 22. Fry the vegetables for another 3 minutes.
  23. 23. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
  24. 24. Mix the rice, chicken breast pieces, and sauce in a baking dish.
  25. 25. Sprinkle grated cheese over the casserole.
  26. 26. Bake the casserole for about 20 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
  27. 27. Carefully remove the casserole from the oven.
  28. 28. Serve the dish hot.
