🍽️ Crispy Cauliflower Bake with Curry Cream

Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Cauliflower 1 pc.
- Spring onions 5 pcs.
- Cooked ham 200 g
- Heavy cream 200 g
- Curry powder 2 tsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Emmental grated 200 g
- Breadcrumbs 2 tbsp
- Cilantro, fresh 25 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Fill a large pot with about 4 liters of water and add salt.
- 3. Bring the salted water to a boil under a lid.
- 4. Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly under running water.
- 5. Remove the hard core at the bottom of the cauliflower.
- 6. Break the cauliflower into small, bite-sized florets.
- 7. Add the cauliflower florets to the boiling salted water.
- 8. Boil the florets for 5 to 7 minutes until they are tender but still firm to the bite.
- 9. Wash the spring onions and dry them.
- 10. Cut off the root ends of the spring onions.
- 11. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 12. Cut the cooked ham into cubes of about 1 centimeter.
- 13. Put cream, curry powder, salt, and pepper into a bowl.
- 14. Mix the ingredients for the sauce well together.
- 15. Drain the cauliflower in a colander.
- 16. Let the cauliflower drain thoroughly.
- 17. Place the drained cauliflower into a baking dish.
- 18. Add the cubed cooked ham to the cauliflower.
- 19. Add the sliced spring onions to the mixture.
- 20. Mix the cauliflower, ham, and onions together in the dish.
- 21. Pour the curry cream sauce evenly over the ingredients.
- 22. Sprinkle cheese over the bake.
- 23. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top to create a crispy crust.
- 24. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 25. Bake the bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 26. Ensure the surface turns golden brown without burning.
- 27. Wash the fresh coriander under cold water.
- 28. Shake the coriander dry.
- 29. Finely chop the coriander leaves.
- 30. Take the finished bake out of the oven.
- 31. Portion the bake onto plates.
- 32. Garnish the dish with the chopped coriander.
