🍽️ Baked Turkey in Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- Onions, yellow 1 pc
- Cherry tomatoes 2 pcs
- Mozzarella 2 pcs
- Turkey breast fillet 600 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Herbs of Provence, dried pinch
- Whipping cream 300 ml
- Long grain rice 300 g
- Zucchini 1 pc
- Basil, fresh 20 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it into small pieces.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes and dice them as well.
- 4. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces.
- 5. Wash the turkey breast fillet and pat it dry.
- 6. Slice the meat into thick pieces.
- 7. Season the turkey meat with salt and pepper.
- 8. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 9. Fry the turkey meat for about four minutes.
- 10. Add the onions and tomatoes to the pan.
- 11. Fry the vegetables together for about two minutes.
- 12. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence.
- 13. Deglaze the pan with cream.
- 14. Place the turkey meat and the tomato cream sauce into a baking dish.
- 15. Sprinkle the mozzarella pieces over the dish.
- 16. Bake the dish in the oven for about ten minutes.
- 17. Bring rice with about 700 milliliters of salted water to a boil in a pot.
- 18. Let the rice cook covered for about ten minutes.
- 19. Wash the zucchini and cut off the ends.
- 20. Halve the zucchini lengthwise and slice it.
- 21. Wash the basil and dry it.
- 22. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 23. Chop the basil leaves roughly.
- 24. Heat one tablespoon of oil in the pan over high heat.
- 25. Fry the zucchini slices for about four minutes.
- 26. Season the zucchini with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence.
- 27. Take the baked turkey out of the oven.
- 28. Plate the turkey, rice, and zucchini.
- 29. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped basil.
- 30. Serve the food and enjoy your meal.
