Ingredients
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- potatoes, waxy 1 kg
- oil 2 tbsp
- bacon strips 200 g
- water 300 ml
- Morbier, raw milk cheese 200 g
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic and dice finely. Peel the potatoes, rinse them, and slice them into rounds about 0.5 cm thick.
- 2. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat and fry the bacon pieces in it for around 4 minutes until crispy. Then add the potato slices and cook with them for about 1 minute. Deglaze with water and simmer for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the water has evaporated.
- 3. Meanwhile, cut the Morbier into small cubes. Wash the parsley, shake off the water, and chop finely. As soon as the potatoes are cooked, add the cheese and stir in gently. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve sprinkled with parsley. Enjoy your meal!
