  1. 1. Cut the onion in half and peel it. Peel the garlic clove. Wash the broccoli thoroughly. Cut off the hard stem at the bottom. Divide the broccoli into small florets, about two centimeters in size. Place the broccoli florets into the deep steam cooking insert.
  2. 2. Wash the cherry tomatoes. Cut them in half. Wash the thyme sprigs. Shake them dry. Pluck the small leaves off the stems.
  3. 3. Add the minced meat, the egg, the thyme leaves, the paprika powder, and the breadcrumbs to the mixing container. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Mix everything for ten seconds on speed four. Take the mixture out of the container. Roll about twenty small balls from it. Place the meatballs on the flat steam cooking insert.
  4. 4. Add the halved onion and the garlic clove to the mixing container. Chop them for four seconds on speed eight. Push the chopped ingredients down to the bottom with a spatula. Add the oil. Fry the mixture for three minutes on the sauté setting.
  5. 5. Add 800 milliliters of vegetable broth, one teaspoon of salt, and the chopped tomatoes to the mixing container. Put the rice into the cooking insert. Hang the cooking insert into the appliance. Place the steam cooking inserts on the appliance. Close the lid. Cook the dish for 15 minutes on steam cooking setting with counter-clockwise rotation.
  6. 6. Remove the steam cooking inserts from the appliance after the time has elapsed. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and the cooked rice to the tomato sauce. Mix everything for 20 seconds on speed two with counter-clockwise rotation. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
  7. 7. Divide the tomato rice with meatballs and broccoli onto the plates. Serve the dish hot. Enjoy your meal!
