🍽️ Homemade Ketchup Without Added Sugar

Ingredients
- Vine tomatoes 400 g
- Onions, red 1 pc.
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Tomato paste 20 g
- Soft dates, dried and pitted 200 g
- Vinegar 50 g
- Salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the hard green stem from the top of the tomatoes.
- 3. Cut the onion in half.
- 4. Peel off the dry outer skin from the onion halves.
- 5. Place the peeled onion pieces into the mixing container.
- 6. Chop the onions for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 7. Use a spatula to push the onion pieces down the sides of the container.
- 8. Add the oil and tomato paste to the container.
- 9. Fry the mixture for 3 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 10. Add the whole tomatoes and dates to the container.
- 11. Chop the ingredients for 10 seconds on speed 8.
- 12. Add the vinegar and salt to the mixture.
- 13. Bring the ketchup to a boil for 20 minutes on speed 2 at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Puree the hot ketchup for 30 seconds on speed 8.
- 15. Fill the ketchup immediately into well-rinsed jars.
- 16. Seal the jars tightly.
- 17. Serve the ketchup immediately or store it in the refrigerator.
