  1. 1. Brew about 400 ml of strong espresso from the coffee powder.
  2. 2. Dissolve 1 tbsp of sugar in the hot espresso.
  3. 3. Set the sweetened espresso mixture aside to cool down.
  4. 4. Finely chop the chestnuts.
  5. 5. Put half of the chopped chestnuts into a tall container.
  6. 6. Puree the chestnuts with 3 tbsp of mascarpone and 6 tbsp of sugar until smooth.
  7. 7. Mix the chestnut puree with the remaining mascarpone and the remaining chopped chestnuts.
  8. 8. Finally, season the chestnut cream to taste.
  9. 9. Place half of the ladyfingers side by side in a baking dish.
  10. 10. Soak the biscuits with half of the cooled espresso.
  11. 11. Spread half of the chestnut mascarpone cream evenly over the biscuits.
  12. 12. Layer the remaining ladyfingers on top of the cream.
  13. 13. Put the remaining chestnut mascarpone cream on the second layer of biscuits.
  14. 14. Place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  15. 15. Put cocoa powder into a fine sieve.
  16. 16. Dust the cold tiramisu evenly with the cocoa powder shortly before serving.
