🍽️ Tuna Pizza with Fresh Basil

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 1 pc
- olive oil 1 tbsp
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- tuna in oil 320 g
- onions, red 2 pcs
- mozzarella 500 g
- basil, fresh 20 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 4. Add the garlic to the hot oil and sweat it for about one minute until it becomes colorless.
- 5. Add the tomato sauce to the pot and let it simmer for about one minute.
- 6. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 7. Drain the tuna in a sieve.
- 8. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 9. Pat the mozzarella dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Tear the mozzarella into rough pieces of about one centimeter in size using your hands.
- 11. Unroll the pizza doughs along with the baking paper onto the baking sheets.
- 12. Spread the prepared tomato sauce evenly over the dough surfaces.
- 13. Distribute the mozzarella, tuna, and onion rings evenly over the pizzas.
- 14. Place the sheets in the center of the oven and bake the pizzas for 14 to 16 minutes.
- 15. Swap the position of the baking sheets after about seven minutes to ensure even baking.
- 16. Wash the basil under running water and shake it dry.
- 17. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 18. Chop or tear the leaves into small pieces as desired.
- 19. Remove the finished pizzas from the oven.
- 20. Sprinkle the pizzas with the fresh basil and serve immediately.
