🍽️ Creamy Tuna and Pepper Spread

Ingredients
- tuna in its own juice 200 g
- onions, red 1 pcs
- peppers, red 1 pcs
- basil, fresh 10 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- cream cheese, plain 200 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Open the can of tuna and drain the water or oil using a sieve.
- 2. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 3. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 4. Cut the bell pepper in half.
- 5. Remove the tough stem and seeds from the inside of the pepper.
- 6. Wash the basil leaves.
- 7. Shake the basil dry so that no water remains on the leaves.
- 8. Pick off the larger stems from the basil.
- 9. Place the halved onion into the mixing container.
- 10. Chop the onion for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 11. Use a spatula to push the onion pieces down from the sides of the container.
- 12. Add the oil to the container.
- 13. Sauté the onions for 3 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 14. Add the prepared bell pepper to the container.
- 15. Add the basil to the container.
- 16. Add the drained tuna to the container.
- 17. Chop the mixture for 5 seconds on speed 8.
- 18. Use a spatula to push the ingredients down from the sides of the container.
- 19. Add the cream cheese to the mixture.
- 20. Season with salt to taste.
- 21. Season with pepper to taste.
- 22. Fold everything together gently for 4 seconds on speed 4 until creamy.
- 23. Fill the finished spread into jars.
- 24. Store the spread in the refrigerator or serve it immediately.
