  1. 1. Season the minced meat in a bowl generously with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Form four equal-sized patties with your hands.
  3. 3. The patties should be about thumb-thick and weigh around 150 grams.
  4. 4. Set the patties aside to let them reach room temperature.
  5. 5. Rinse the lime under hot water.
  6. 6. Grate the lime zest finely.
  7. 7. Squeeze out the lime juice.
  8. 8. Wash the parsley and pat it dry.
  9. 9. Remove the coarse leaves and stems from the parsley.
  10. 10. Chop the parsley roughly.
  11. 11. Wash the chili peppers.
  12. 12. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
  13. 13. Finely chop the chili peppers.
  14. 14. Mix the chopped chili peppers and parsley in a bowl.
  15. 15. Add mayonnaise, lime zest, and 2 teaspoons of lime juice to the mixture.
  16. 16. Season the lime mayo with salt and pepper to taste.
  17. 17. Wash the tomatoes.
  18. 18. Dice the tomatoes into small pieces.
  19. 19. Wash the spring onions.
  20. 20. Remove the root ends of the spring onions.
  21. 21. Chop the spring onions.
  22. 22. Place the diced tomatoes and chopped spring onions in a separate bowl.
  23. 23. Mix the vegetables with corn and ketchup.
  24. 24. Season the tomato-corn mix to your liking.
  25. 25. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan on the highest setting.
  26. 26. Fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side over high heat.
  27. 27. Add the bacon to the pan during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  28. 28. Slice the burger buns in half.
  29. 29. Toast the buns briefly in a toaster.
  30. 30. Spread the lime mayo on both halves of the buns.
  31. 31. Place the fried patties and bacon on the bottom halves of the buns.
  32. 32. Spread the tomato-corn mix over the meat.
