  5. 5. Place the sweet potato slices in a bowl.
  6. 6. Add one tablespoon of oil, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7. Toss the slices to ensure they are evenly marinated.
  8. 8. Arrange the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet.
  9. 9. Roast the sweet potatoes in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove the sweet potatoes when they are golden brown.
  11. 11. Empty the bowl and rinse it clean.
