🍽️ Salmon Burgers with Sweet Potato Buns

Ingredients
- salmon fillet, frozen 600 g
- sweet potatoes 2 pcs.
- oil 4 tbsp
- rose pepper 1 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- organic limes 2 pcs.
- avocado 2 pcs.
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- onions, red 1 pcs.
- honey 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Ideally, thaw the salmon overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 3. Thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes.
- 4. Cut the sweet potatoes into slices about 2 centimeters thick.
- 5. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 6. Brush the sweet potatoes with 2 tablespoons of oil.
- 7. Season the slices with paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 8. Bake the sweet potatoes in the oven for about 35 to 40 minutes.
- 9. Cut the limes in half.
- 10. Squeeze the juice from the limes.
- 11. Halve the avocados.
- 12. Remove the pits from the avocados.
- 13. Scoop the flesh of the avocados out of the skin with a spoon.
- 14. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl.
- 15. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice to the avocado flesh.
- 16. Roughly mash the avocado with the lime juice.
- 17. Season the avocado mixture with salt and pepper.
- 18. Wash the tomatoes.
- 19. Remove the stem from the tomatoes.
- 20. Slice the tomatoes.
- 21. Peel the onion.
- 22. Cut the onion into rings.
- 23. Rinse the salmon.
- 24. Pat the salmon dry.
- 25. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
- 26. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 27. Fry the salmon for about 4 minutes on each side.
- 28. Add 2 tablespoons of lime juice and 1 tablespoon of honey to the pan.
- 29. Turn the salmon in the sauce.
- 30. Carefully remove the sweet potato slices from the oven.
- 31. Place one sweet potato slice as a base.
- 32. Place the avocado mixture (guacamole) on the sweet potato.
- 33. Place the onion rings on the guacamole.
- 34. Place the salmon on the onions.
- 35. Place a tomato slice on the salmon.
- 36. Place another sweet potato slice on top as a lid.
- 37. Serve the burgers.
