🍽️ Sweet Potato Burger with Avocado Sauce

Ingredients
- Sweet potatoes 300 g
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Sweet paprika 1 tsp
- Garlic cloves 1 pcs
- Organic limes 1 pcs
- Avocado 0.5 pcs
- Soy yogurt 2 tbsp
- Agave syrup 1 tbsp
- Sea salt pinch
- Pepper, white ground pinch
- Vemondo vegan burger patties 4 pcs
- Onions, red 1 pcs
- Vine tomatoes 2 pcs
- Salad mix 50 g
- Vegan cheese slices 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill.
- 2. Peel the sweet potato.
- 3. Slice the sweet potato into rounds about 1 cm thick.
- 4. Make sure you have a total of 8 slices.
- 5. Mix olive oil and paprika powder in a bowl.
- 6. Add the sweet potato slices to the bowl.
- 7. Marinate the slices by turning them in the oil mixture.
- 8. Place the sweet potato slices on the grill.
- 9. Grill the slices for about 20 to 30 minutes.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Finely chop the garlic.
- 12. Halve the lime.
- 13. Squeeze 1 tablespoon of juice from the lime.
- 14. Halve the avocado.
- 15. Scoop the avocado flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
- 16. Place the avocado, soy yogurt, 1 to 2 tablespoons of water, lime juice, garlic, and agave syrup into a tall container.
- 17. Blend the ingredients finely with an immersion blender.
- 18. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 19. Fry the Vemondo patties on the grill for about 4 minutes on each side.
- 20. Remove the sweet potato slices from the grill.
- 21. Sprinkle sea salt over the slices.
- 22. Let the sweet potato slices cool down.
- 23. Peel the onion.
- 24. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 25. Wash the tomatoes.
- 26. Remove the core from the tomatoes.
- 27. Slice the tomatoes.
- 28. Wash the salad mix in a salad spinner.
- 29. Spin the salad dry.
- 30. Place one sweet potato slice as the base.
- 31. Place a Vemondo patty on top.
- 32. Place a slice of Gouda cheese on top.
- 33. Place a tomato slice on top.
- 34. Place onion rings on top.
- 35. Place the salad on top.
- 36. Add the avocado sauce on top.
- 37. Place another sweet potato slice on top as the lid.
- 38. Serve the burger.
- 39. Enjoy your meal!
- 40. Tip: If you don't have a grill, bake the sweet potatoes in the oven at 180 °C (convection) for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 41. Fry the patties in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil on high heat for about 4 minutes.
