  1. 1. Crumble the yeast into the mixing bowl.
  2. 2. Add the milk and 50 grams of sugar.
  3. 3. Warm the mixture with the measuring cup in place for 3 minutes on level 1 at 37 degrees Celsius.
  4. 4. Add 50 grams of butter, 250 grams of flour, and a pinch of salt.
  5. 5. Knead the dough using the dough knead function for 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Push the dough down from the inner wall of the bowl using a spatula.
  7. 7. If the dough is too sticky, add up to 50 grams of flour.
  8. 8. Knead the dough again with the measuring cup in place for 1 minute on level 4.
  9. 9. Transfer the yeast dough into a bowl.
  10. 10. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel.
  11. 11. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  12. 12. Peel the apples and remove the core.
  13. 13. Cut the apples into eighths and then into thin slices.
  14. 14. Put cinnamon, the remaining butter, and sugar into the mixing bowl.
  15. 15. Melt the mixture with the measuring cup in place for 2 minutes on level 2 at 80 degrees Celsius.
  16. 16. Mix the cinnamon butter mixture with the apple slices.
  17. 17. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with fan (convection).
  18. 18. Dust the work surface with flour.
  19. 19. Roll out the yeast dough into a rectangle measuring 40 by 20 centimeters.
  20. 20. Top the dough rectangle with the apple-cinnamon mixture.
  21. 21. Fold the long left side towards the center.
  22. 22. Fold the long right side towards the center as well.
  23. 23. Split the dough at the center seam into two halves.
  24. 24. Cut the halves into even squares.
  25. 25. Grease the loaf pan.
  26. 26. Place the loaf pan upright.
  27. 27. Stack the dough squares slightly offset into the pan.
  28. 28. Place the loaf pan back horizontally.
  29. 29. Brush the dough squares with the remaining cinnamon-butter mixture.
  30. 30. Let the pull-apart bread rise again for 30 minutes, covered.
  31. 31. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  32. 32. Perform a skewer test with a wooden skewer.
  33. 33. Extend the baking time if the skewer comes out moist.
  34. 34. Optionally sprinkle 50 grams of sliced almonds on top before baking.
