🍰 Sweet Waffle Sandwich with Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberries

Ingredients
- butter 125 g
- sugar 70 g
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- salt pinch
- eggs 2 pcs.
- wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- baking powder 0.5 packet
- milk 200 ml
- strawberries 200 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- vanilla ice cream 4 tbsp
- chocolate sprinkles, dark chocolate 4 tsp
- powdered sugar 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter in a bowl with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt and mix well.
- 2. Whisk the eggs and slowly work them into the mixture while stirring constantly. Add flour, baking powder, and milk until a thick batter forms. If the batter is too thick, add a little milk.
- 3. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it. Place 2 tbsp of the batter into the mold each time and bake the waffles for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- 4. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the leaves, and halve or quarter them depending on size. In a tall container, whip the whipping cream with a hand mixer until stiff.
- 5. Spread the cream on half of the waffles and place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center of each. Arrange the strawberries around the ice cream and top with chocolate sprinkles. Cover with another waffle, dust with powdered sugar, and serve the waffle sandwich. Enjoy your meal!
