🍰 Sweet Yeast Dough Basic Recipe

Ingredients
- milk 300 ml
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- sugar 160 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 600 g
- salt pinch
- butter 150 g
- eggs 3 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Heat the milk in a pot for about 1 minute until it is lukewarm. Crumble the yeast into a small bowl and dissolve it together with 1 tbsp sugar in the lukewarm milk. Cover the bowl and let the yeast mixture rest for about 15 minutes.
- 2. In the meantime, mix the remaining sugar (37 tsp), flour, salt, and the butter cut into pieces in a bowl. Add the yeast mixture and the eggs and knead everything into a homogeneous dough.
- 3. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until its volume has approximately doubled.
- 4. Knead the dough briefly again and process it further according to the recipe. The recipe yields enough dough for one baking sheet or a Bundt pan (22 cm Ø). Enjoy!
